User Guide to the eBIOMELD Electronic Form
User account
You can change your stored data in your user account.
An overview of the eBIOMELD electronic form can be found by clicking on the following link (in German):
You will find introductory information on the notification procedure for biocidal products under the transitional measures and the procedure for the quantity notification of sales volumes for biocidal products made available on the market.
Click on "Continue to registration" (Weiter zur Anmeldung) to reach the login area.
Your user name is the email address you entered in the first step when registering your user account. It cannot be changed.
Register new account (Registrieren)
You can set up a new user account by clicking on the upper "here" (hier) link in "If you do not have an account yet, you can register here", which you will find in the login area (see illustration: Sollten Sie noch keinen Account haben, können Sie sich hier registrieren).
In the first step, please enter the "Details of distributor/notifier" ("Angaben zum Inverkehrbringer/Melder") and - where applicable - the "Authorised representative" (Bevollmächtigten).
The email address you enter under "Distributor/notifier" ("Inverkehrbringer/Melder") is also used as your user name. In addition, this email address is used as your contact address.
Note:
Your user name cannot be changed later.
The email address stored under "Details of distributor/manufacturer/importer" ("Angaben zum Inverkehrbringer/Hersteller/Importeur") is used to contact you (e.g. with the confirmation email after a notification). You can change this email address in your user account under "User data" (Eigene Daten). However, this does not change the user name you use to log in.
Before completing registration, please confirm that you have read the information on data protection and the processing of your personal data and give your consent to this.
After you submit the information you have entered by clicking on the "Register" (Registrieren) button, an email will be sent to the address previously entered under "Distributor/notifier" (Inverkehrbringer/Melder). If you do not find the message in your inbox, please also check your spam folder.
The email contains a link that you should follow. You will be asked to enter a password for your user account. The password must consist of at least eight characters.
You can log in to your user account and submit notifications directly.
Note:
Companies with their registered offices outside the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA), or Switzerland cannot submit notifications under the ChemBiozidDV. These companies require a legal representative within the EU, the EEA, or Switzerland.
Forgotten password (Passwot vergessen)
You can restore access to your user account by clicking on the second "here" (hier) link in "If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it here" (Sollten Sie Ihr Passwort vergessen haben, können Sie es hier zurücksetzen lassen), which you will find in the login area. To do so, you must have access to the contact email address stored in the account data (this does not have to be the same as the email address used as your user name).
In the first step, enter the user name for your user account (i.e. the email address given during registration) and confirm the action by clicking on "Submit" (Absenden).
You will see a confirmation that an email with a link has been sent to you. If you do not find the message in your inbox, please check your spam folder.
Please follow the link provided in the email.
This will give you the opportunity to set a new password for your user account. The password must consist of at least eight characters. You can confirm the password you have entered by clicking on "Submit" (Absenden).
Start page (Startseite)
Information about your user account is available on the user account start page. For example, the contact information for the Federal Office for Chemicals (Bundesstelle für Chemikalien) is displayed there.
If you click on "Notify product" (Produkt melden), you can directly launch the notification process for a biocidal product under the transitional measures.
It is possible to leave your user account by clicking on "Logout" at the top right of the screen.
An overview of the active notification data records can be viewed in tabular form in the product administration area, which is reached by clicking on the menu item "Transitional measures notification" (Meldung Übergangsregelungen), then the menu heading "TO TRANSITIONAL MEASURES NOTIFICATION OVERVIEW" (ZUR ÜBERSICHT MELDUNG ÜBERGANGSREGELUNGEN).
User data (Eigene Daten)
After selecting the menu heading "TO USER DATA OVERVIEW" (ZUR ÜBERSICHT EIGENE DATEN) in the "User data" (Eigene Daten) area, you can amend the "Details of distributor/manufacturer/importer" (Angaben zum Inverkehrbringer/Hersteller/Importeur) , the “authorised representative” (Bevollmächtigten) and have a "Change password" function (Passwort ändern).
The email address stored under "Details of distributor/manufacturer/importer" (Angaben zum Inverkehrbringer/Hersteller/Importeur) is used to contact you (e.g. with the confirmation email after a notification). You can change this email address in your user account under "User data" (Eigene Daten). However, this does not change the user name you use to log in.
After you have changed this information, please confirm it by clicking on "SAVE" (SPEICHERN).
