The BAuA's final report "Mental Health in the Workplace" presents a multitude of evaluated results, contradictions and deficits. Debate on this subject, which has been controversial for decades, will now enter a new phase. Based on the experiences of this debate and the established scientific findings on the complicated problems of psychic demands in the work, some theses are to be drawn up as guidelines for action in practice. This involves both the integration of this problem into society and science and its concrete implementation in the work structure and the demands placed on the preventive and medical environment.
