Artificial Intelligence

Everyone is talking about the supposedly magic powers of “AI”. The true significance of “artificial intelligence” is explored by an atmospheric, information-packed exhibition at the DASA Working World Exhibition in Dortmund from 13 November.

It looks at five big themes connected with machine-learning technologies, explaining how they are used in the home, for leisure, at work, in cities, and across society as a whole.

800 square metres of galleries are devoted to this exhibition, which probes the ambivalence of our beautiful, new, digital world. We encounter gadgets that have become family members and know more about us than we do ourselves. But what are these devices really doing? DASA’s interactive exhibits and beautifully designed spaces encourage the visitor to question the assumptions behind “AI”.
The exhibition is a cooperative European project with Vienna Museum of Science and Technology, the National Museum of Science and Technology in Stockholm, and the Science Park in Granada. After premiering at DASA, it will go on tour through Europe from the autumn of 2022.
