Current research on sustainable return to work practices in different social security systems: learning from each other and rethinking together

12th December 2024, 9 am - 1 pm (UTC+1)

WHO Collaborating Centre Workshop

Location:

Online
WebEx

Content:

Achieving and securing a sustainable return to work (SRTW) for employees with common mental disorders is a current challenge not only for the employees, but also for society at large. The workshop aims to bring researchers from different research and societal contexts together to discuss current developments and practices around the sustainability of returning to work due to common mental disorders.

After an introducing keynote on the topic "Sustainable RTW with common mental disorders: What we know and what we do not know (so far)" there will be a first opportunity to ask questions and discuss them with the audience.

Within the following two deepening focus sessions we will discuss current knowledge, challenges around SRTW practices and important questions to broaden our thinking and perspectives.

At the end, we will sum up the focus sessions results in the audience and will reflect our experiences with each other. We will close the workshop with an open exchange on questions around leading challenges to design integrated future research on SRTW with purpose.
