The website www.demowanda.de, which was set up as part of the project, has now been taken offline.

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and derived from the Federal Government's demographic strategy the BAuA is developing a work-related monitoring system in cooperation with other departmental research institutes. It will be realized as a website giving a broad interested public easy access to information on changes in the working world within the context of demographic change. The monitoring system based on existing survey data provided by the co-operation institutes offers a reliable empirically verified source of information that gives an up-to-date interdisciplinary overview of work-related societal developments in Germany.

With the work-related monitoring system the BAuA fulfills its task of systematic monitoring working conditions in consideration of current societal challenges. At the same time it represents a further development of the national reporting practice by meeting the growing requirement of a multidisciplinary perspective through an interdepartmental cooperation approach. This is an important precondition for politics being able to develop sustainable solution strategies. Thereby the project can lead to a stronger cooperation within the departmental research in general.
