  • Project number: F 2323
  • Institution: Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA)
  • Status: Completed Project

Description:

The research map ambient intelligence (AmI) and adaptive work assistance systems (AAS) catalogues and displays activities and the state of research in the field of AmI technologies and on adaptive work assistance systems. BAuA sees itself as an experienced knowledge manager and addresses this offer to those involved in research and development, i.e. universities, research-based institutions such as private and public institutions, companies with its own development and other technical experts active in this research field.

The project provides a gain in information for interested parties, by a structured overview on the topic and makes an entrance to the AmI/AAS research possible. Using this research map, much information can be obtained about research and development projects, project groups and current focal points. Furthermore, the map can be used in the localization of blind spots and in a simplified planning and coordination of research and development activities in this very recent field of research. The located research establishments and developers are supported by the systematic catalogue in goal-oriented networking, i.e. by finding experts, establishing consortiums and planning/developing projects.
