Description:

With the project 'Auralization for Office Design' a multimedial and interactive software will be set up containing sound examples for the acoustical design of office rooms. The visual demonstration of different designs variants will be accompanied by an acoustical demonstration that gives an impression of how different noise sources as well as room acoustical noise control measures will sound.

The intention of the software is

• to make employers more sensitive for acoustics when setting up or altering office environments
• to improve the communication between office designers and employers
• to become part of the professional education of architects and office designers in order to avoid mistakes in the acoustical planning of offices
