Our data for your research
The Research Data Centre of the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (FDZ-BAuA) makes selected data from BAuA’s research available.
As a departmental research institution of the federal government, BAuA conducts studies on various aspects of employment in Germany. To enable researchers from other institutions to use data from these studies for their own research, FDZ-BAuA processes selected datasets as scientific use files. Scientific use files of two panel studies are currently available, the BAuA-Working Time Survey (BAuA-WTS) and the Study on Mental Health at Work (S-MGA), as well as the cross-sectional study "Healthy digital work".
FDZ-BAuA also offers public use files, which are available to both researchers and an interested public. The first public use file to be made available is a Job-Exposure Matrix based on the BIBB/BAuA Employment Survey 2018 (BAuA-JEM ETB 2018).
We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions (FAQ) on how to get access to the data at FDZ-BAuA.
FDZ-BAuA’s English-language offerings are being gradually expanded. The translation is funded by the European Union - NextGenerationEU.
