Pursuant to Section 19(5) of the Act on Installations subject to Monitoring (Gesetz über überwachungsbedürftige Anlagen, ÜAnlG), the approved inspection bodies responsible for inspecting installations subject to monitoring are announced publicly by the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin, BAuA) through electronic channels.

Note: Prior to the ÜAnlG’s entry into force, the approval of inspection bodies was governed by the Product Safety Act (Produktsicherheitsgesetz, ProdSG). Any approvals granted to approved inspection bodies before the Act on Installations subject to Monitoring entered into force continue to retain their validity as such pursuant to sections 19 and 20 of the act.
