Coordination Offices

Advances in occupational safety and health can often only be achieved if participating interest groups work together in the long term.

Offices are therefore established within the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) to support the work of the interinstitutional bodies on an ongoing basis. BAuA is currently home to the offices of the Minimum Wage Commission, and the National Occupational Safety and Health Conference.

In particular, the offices' tasks include providing technical advice, investigating scientific issues, communicating results in a manner appropriate to the target groups, and monitoring the success of shared activities.
