BAuA’s Internal Guidelines

The Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin, BAuA) is a federal departmental research institution committed to safety and health at work and human-centred work design. This commitment informs and shapes how we conduct our research and development activities, provide policy advice, perform our statutory and official functions, and transfer knowledge into workplace practice.

BAuA’s principles and internal guidelines are intended to create a suitable framework for purposeful, quality-assured, process-driven action in all our areas of responsibility. The guidelines ensure a shared understanding of the relevant requirements and criteria among our scientists and formulate appropriate standards for the performance of our various tasks.
